With the care and concern of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council and the whole society, the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), featured by its national status, worldwide influence, high level, large scale, pragmatism, professionalism, and online services, has served as an important window showcasing China’s reform and opening up in hi-tech sector and a high-end platform for hi-tech commercialization. Honored as the No.1 Fair for Science and Technology, the CHTF has become the most pragmatic hi-tech fair with the largest scale and widest influence, fulfilling its role to realize the commercialization and internationalization of national hi-tech achievements.

 Scientific and technological improvement and innovation is the focal point of today’s world competition and development. The Chinese government has prioritized the strengthening of the nation’s capacity for independent innovation in the process of economic restructuring, growth mode transformation, science and technology development, and enhancement of national competitiveness. At the same time, to build an innovative country has been considered as an important strategy in the future. Boasting international influence, the CHTF, which is a national-level transaction platform for hi-tech achievements, will spare no effort in developing and integrating technologies, products, information, capital, human resources and other factors both home and abroad, so as to further promote the conversion from scientific innovation to real productivity and push forward the economic and technological exchanges and cooperation between China and the rest of the world. It has, and it will make conducive contributions to develop a national innovation system and build an innovative country.
