Opening ceremony of ICEF 2009 and CODE 2009

More than 370 domestic and abroad enterprises participate and hundreds of professional buyers attend the Fair

 

　　On the morning of May 23rd, the grand opening ceremony of ICEF 2009 and CODE 2009 was hold at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, presided over by Mr. Yu Zhonghou, Vice Secretary General of Shenzhen and addressed by Mr. Xu Qin, First Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Xiao Hua, Chief of the Electronic Information Department under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC, Mr. Li Dongsheng, President of TCL Company, and others in order. Others present at the event were Vice Chief of the Department of Information Industry of Guangdong Province, Peng Ping, member of the Standing Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Weihai Municipality of Shandong Province, Tang Guangyun, leaders and distinguished guests from Shenzhen Municipal Government, Science Technology Information Bureau, Department of Commerce and Industry, and Department of Development and Reform, and  distinguished guests, President of Samsung Electronics, Zhang Yuanji, President of Konka Group, Chen Yaohua, Executive Director of Japanese Sharp, Tonggudahai, President of Communications and Manufacturing Association of India, N K Goyal, directors of Shenzhen Electronic Association, leaders from the organizers, co-organizers, and cooperators of the exhibitions, representatives of the exhibitors, reporters of various medium, totaling nearly 200 people.

　　With the theme of “Life of Digital Innovation", this year's convention and exhibition will have five major areas: Digital product area, Computer and accessories, Communication products, Opto-electrical display area, and LED display area. In the context of the financial crisis, through the untiring effort of the organizer, the exhibition area of 30,000 m2 was maintained for this convention & exhibition; among the over 370 exhibitors were transnational corporations and excellent enterprises of consumer's electronics at home. The specialization of the exhibitors, the rich variety of the exhibits, and the dazzling conference & forum activities, all make the event glitter with highlights.
