The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently unveiled the largest-ever batch of 2,930 "little giant companies," which refer to leading small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) that specialize in niche sectors, command a high market share, boast a strong innovative capacity and possess core technologies.

Some of the "little giant companies" will show their innovative and competitive products at this year's China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), which is scheduled to take place at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Guangdong province from Nov 17 to 21.
