At this year's National Hi-Tech Achievements Show of the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and its affiliated scientific research institutions will showcase their achievements in their respective fields.

The CAS Institute of Software will bring its RepChain (Reactive Permissioned Chain), the first autonomous and controllable blockchain platform based on responsive programming.

The platform has passed the functional and performance testing carried out by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and has been applied in such areas as certificate tracing, fund verification and control, medical waste disposal, epidemic prevention and control, smart ports, supply chain upgrading and image copyright protection.

The long-endurance petrol-electric hybrid rotorcraft UAV which will be showcased by the CAS Institute of Microelectronics at the event can fly continuously for about two hours with a payload of 3 kilograms. It has a maximum altitude of 2,500 meters, and can fly in force 7 wind as well as light to moderate rain.

The UAV has been used in power grids, mapping, frontier defense, coastal defense, and scientific research.

The CAS Institute of Mechanics will showcase its converter gas all dry sensible heat recovery technology and equipment. The technology can maximize the benefits of sensible heat recovery of converter gas so as to reduce energy consumption, save costs and increase efficiency.
