The 24th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) is expected to take place in the middle of November in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
Centered on the layout of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) and key areas for scientific and technological development, this year's CHTF will organize exhibitions, conferences and forums, as well as exchange activities to promote the industrial and large-scale application of new technologies, serve China's opening-up strategy, and contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative.

Initiated in 1999, CHTF is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Intellectual Property Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as the Shenzhen municipal government.
A total of 4,164 exhibitors took part in last year's CHTF, covering the fields of artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, the internet of things, blockchain, mobile payment, big data, new energy, information security, and digital economy.
