The 25th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) will take place in Shenzhen, Guangdong province from Nov 15 to 19, with groups and enterprises from over 100 countries and regions to participate. The exhibition area is expected to reach 500,000 square meters, a record high.
Several hi-tech enterprises, including Huawei, ZTE, DJI, BYD and UBtech Robotics, will launch new technologies and products at the CHTF. "Orders for new energy vehicles and intelligent home appliances will be able to be placed on site," said Zhang Lin, director of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, at the event's press conference on Oct 31.
Exhibitions featuring Shenzhen's "20+8" policy, which will focus on developing 20 globally-competitive strategic emerging industrial clusters and fostering eight future industries, will also be held to promote exchanges between enterprises, along with evaluations of technologies and products and promotional activities.

The Shenzhen Stock Exchange Scientific and Technological Achievements and Intellectual Property Trading Center, the Components and Integrated Circuit International Trade Center, and the Shenzhen Data Exchange will set up booths at the CHTF, as well as over 50 key financing institutions, venture capital institutions and technology transfer service institutions to build a technological achievements transformation and trading platform for enterprises.
Nine countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, including Hungary, Kenya, Russia and Serbia, will have minister-level officials lead delegations to this year's CHTF, setting up national booths to display the latest technologies and products and hold investment environment introduction activities and road shows.
The 2023 X-Lake Forum will take place at the Convention & Exhibition Center of University Town of Shenzhen during the CHTF. It will be composed of one opening ceremony and plenary meeting, 12 parallel forums, and several supplementary activities, focusing on innovation and sustainable development. It will also invite Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions to take part.
The 2023 Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation and Development Conference is aimed at encouraging enterprises to engage in scientific and technological innovation and carry out exchanges and cooperation, and will be held at the Yungu International Conference Center on Nov 17.
This year, CHTF will have a digital human conduct a live stream for the first time.
