The Cuba Pavilion will take part in the 20th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF 2018) held in Shenzhen from Nov 14 to 18, making its debut since 1999.
Highlighting the country's traditional products like sugar, nickel, cigars, rum, biotech drugs and marine products, the Cuba Pavilion hopes both sides can have greater links in the fields of hygiene, health and biological technology.
In order to demonstrate its investment advantages and key developing industries, the country will introduce seven scientific research centers and innovation technology institutes to the fair including CIMAB, a company aiming for the commercialization of biopharmaceutical products; Radiocuba, the only supplier providing satellite services, data transmission, telex and internet in Cuba; and SOFTEL, an electronics and software development enterprise founded in 1986, which is able to provide computer solutions to improving the efficiency of health care systems.
The exhibition team is expected to bring about more innovative technologies and products following its debut.
