A total of 170 projects from 113 units in Guangdong province, such as those from key universities, scientific research institutes, and companies, will be showcased at the 2019 China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), which will be held in Shenzhen from Nov 13 to 17.
The Guangdong delegation is led by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province and co-organized by other departments, such as the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, as well as the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province.
Covering a total area of 800 square meters, the exhibition area for the Guangdong delegation will be set up in Hall 9 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The delegation remains tops among all delegations in terms of the exhibition area and scale.
The latest innovative achievements of key universities, scientific research institutes, and provincial laboratories will be showcased at CHTF, including those from South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, and Guangzhou Regenerative Medicine and Health Guangdong Laboratory.
Major cities in the province such as Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and Zhaoqing will make their event debut.
Guangdong's projects, covering key industries spanning advanced manufacturing, new materials, biomedicine, and electronic information, fully showcase Guangdong's comprehensive strength in frontier domains.
During the CHTF 2019, the Guangdong delegation will organize various activities, such as forums, promotion and communication fairs, as well as road shows, to promote the landing of innovation achievements.
The Guangdong delegation is expected to make full use of this year’s CHTF to boost international communication and cooperation for Guangdong companies, as well as raise their international competitiveness.
